Event Description
Special guest presenters including organic gardening and composting guru Tim Marshall and Gardening Australia‘s Sophie Thompson will head up a day of workshops, garden tours, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities, hand-pressed apple juice, wood oven rainbow pizzas, organic garden produce sales, harvest swaps, and an autumn auction.
Free, Family-friendly, all welcome!
Where: Duck Flat Community Garden, Wellington Road Mount Barker. Click here for map.
When: Sunday 22nd April 2012 from 11am – 3pm. Garden tour 11am, workshops 11.45, auction 2pm.
What to bring: bring a picnic lunch and a mug if you’d like a complementary cup of tea or coffee. Seeds or garden produce to swap and share.
